Stable Isotope Internal Standards for Neonatal Screening

PerkinElmer Genetics and Cambridge Isotope Laboratories have produced stable isotope internal standards to meet your needs for tandem mass spectrometry applications in newborn screening of acylcarnitines and amino acids metabolites. Twenty of the highest quality acylcarnitine and amino acid standards are synthesized and validated for exceptional purity and accurate enrichments. These standards are available in either of 2 sets containing 10 vials of dry standard prepared from premixed, certified solutions of L-amino acids (set A) or L-carnitine and acylcarnitines (set B). Our standards are designed to help insure the most accurate analysis of important diagnostic markers in screening today.

Set A - Amino Acid Set B - Acylcarnitine

Pricing

Set A-Amino Acids $1,950.00
Set B-Acylcarnitine$1,950.00
VLA-1 ml Vial from Set A$300.00
VLB-1 ml Vial from Set B$300.00
KAB-Dual Set A and Set B $3,510.00
  • Vials are not sold separately except by special arrangement or evaluation
  • Price reflects a 10% discount when ordering both Sets
  • Each reconstituted vial contains certified concentrations of high purity stable isotope labeled internal standards
  • Using published sample preparation methods (see references below); each set will provide enough standards for preparation of approximately 10,000 blood spots when using a single 3/16" diameter punch
  • Blood volume from the excised spots is the determinant of internal standard consumption rate, i.e. 10,000 samples can be prepared using one 3/16" diameter blood punch 7.6 uL on S&S 903 Filter Paper
  • Each vial and set is color coded to reduce the possibility of error
  • Each set can be used individually for selective screening or in combination for comprehensive screening
