Announcing Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) and Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSD)
PerkinElmer Genetics now offers the HRSA recommended screening for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID). This disorder has been included in our StepOne Screening Packet since April of 2010 and is now available as a stand-alone test in the SCID Only Screening Packet.
In addition, as of October 3, 2011, PerkinElmer Genetics will also offer screening for six Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSD). LSD screening is available as stand-alone testing in the Lysosomal Storage Disorders Screening Packet (LSD Only) or included with our StepOne® / LSD Newborn Screening Packet.
